Overview:

Operations Improvement Analyst is focused on analyzing, identifying, and implementing improvements in operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance within an organization.

Job Description:

  1. Conduct data gathering and regularly analysis of existing operational processes and workflows. This involves understanding how resources are utilized. 
  2. Map out current operational processes using flowcharts, diagrams, or written procedures to provide a clear understanding of workflows. Document processes to provide a clear understanding.
  3. Prepare regular updates and present reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and results of improvement initiatives to stakeholders.
  4. Lead or support the implementation of improvement initiatives, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  5. Perform root cause analysis to identify problems or issues and develop actionable recommendations for improvement.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualification

Job Requirements:

  1. A bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, information system or a related field is typically required.
  2. Have 2-3 years of relevant experience is required. This experience should include demonstrated success in.
  3. Expertise in data analysis, including the ability to gather, analyze, interpret complex data sets, and report findings. Experience with data analysis tools and software, utilizing Excel for basic calculations.
    • Familiarity with process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Microsoft Power Point), and project management software (JIRA) may be preferred.
    • Basic project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitoring.
    • Attention to detail in analysis and documentation, is required.
  4. Problem-solving abilities to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations (if needed). Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
  6. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and environments, and the ability to learn new tools and methodologies quickly.
  7. Familiarity with tech-company processes, regulations, and best practices related to operations management is advantageous.
