Description

Operations Improvement Analyst role focused on analyzing processes, identifying, and implementing improvements in operational processes to enhance efficiency, boost productivity, and optimize overall performance within an organization. This involves conducting data analysis and monitoring outcomes to ensure continuous improvement in operational workflows and resource utilization. This position plays a critical role in operational excellence and supporting business growth through measurable and sustainable improvements.

Job Description:

  1. Conduct data gathering and regularly analysis of existing operational processes and workflows. This involves understanding how resources are utilized.  
  2. Map out current operational processes using flowcharts, diagrams, or written procedures to provide a clear understanding of workflows. Document processes to provide a clear understanding. 
  3. Prepare regular updates and present reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and results of improvement initiatives to stakeholders. 
  4. Lead or support the implementation of improvement initiatives, including planning, execution, and monitoring. 
  5. Perform root cause analysis to identify problems or issues and develop actionable recommendations for improvement. 
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of agreements.

Qualification

Job Requirements:

  1. Education: A bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science with a focus on Data Analytics, or a related field is typically required.
  2. Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in data analysis, utilizing mathematical models and statistical methods to derive insights and optimize performance. This experience should include : 
    • Expertise in data analysis, including the ability to gather, analyze, interpret complex data sets, and report findings. 
    • Experience with data analysis tools, particularly Excel for calculations, data processing, analysis, and reporting, with a quick ability to learn new tools. 
    • Familiarity with process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Microsoft PowerPoint), and project management software (e.g., JIRA) is preferred.
    • Basic project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
    • Attention to Detail in Documentation
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations, when necessary.
  3. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in identifying  root causes of issues and developing effective solutions.
  4. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
  5. Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated, consistently taking initiative and collaborating effectively within teams to achieve common goals.
  6. Adaptability: Proven ability to adapt and thrive in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and pressures, while maintaining attention to detail and quality 
  7. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with tech-company processes, regulations, and best practices related to operations management is advantageous.
