Challenges

For so long, insurance is generally bought through independent agents or commercial brokers who provide access to insurance products. AXA, on the other hand, wants to revolutionize the business process through direct selling using a portal where potential customers can interact directly with the company and make the deal. It certainly is a new approach towards a market who are used to the old-fashioned method and therefore it could not be perceived well.
